BPI provides student scholarships and funds grants that help remove barriers to success—offering transportation, language support, mentorship, tools, testing and materials fees.

We founded the Bates Philanthropic Initiative (BPI) after a personal experience with Duncan, a young adult facing daunting obstacles after graduating high school. Gifted, but unsupported. That story drives everything we do.
